The Study Programme Board (hereinafter referred to as the SP Board) within the quality assurance processes:
- continuously monitors and periodically evaluates the respective study programme and prepares an Annual Report on the Continuous Monitoring and Periodic Evaluation of the Study Programme;
- evaluates the academic quality of the study programme in accordance with the current state of scientific knowledge;
- discusses proposals for the extension, modification, and renewal of the authorization to deliver the study programme, as well as proposals for the discontinuation of the study programme initiated by the faculty;
- discusses and approves modifications to the study programme within the scope defined in § 2, letter g) of Act No. 269/2018 Coll. on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and on Amendments to Act No. 343/2015 Coll. on Public Procurement and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended;
- discusses and approves, with the consent of the Dean, changes to the persons responsible for delivering the core courses of the study programme;
- discusses and approves changes to the study programme that do not substantially affect the nature of the study programme (e.g., updates of instructors, recommended literature, course assessment methods, etc.);
- prepares the Internal Evaluation Report of the Study Programme on compliance with the quality standards for study programmes at TUKE.
The SP Board consists of at least six members and comprises:
- the person responsible for the study programme, who serves as its Chair;
- four teachers responsible for the core courses of the respective study programme;
- one student representative from each level of study;
- three advisors representing external stakeholders or graduates of the respective study programme.
