Students of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics have the opportunity to complete an industrial internship within the framework of elective courses. This opportunity is available to students in the Bachelor’s degree programme during the 3rd year, summer semester, and to students in the Master’s degree programme during the 2nd year, winter semester. The Industrial Internship course includes participation in a professional internship at a selected company for 8 hours per week over a period of 10 weeks, amounting to a total of 80 hours. The remaining 70 hours are devoted to the student’s independent work on the preparation of a final internship report, as well as the preparation and presentation of its defense in the prescribed scope and format in accordance with the requirements of the course guarantor. The total student workload for the course is 150 hours per semester.
