1st Level of Study, 2nd Year, Winter Semester
Students will acquire knowledge of the theory and applications of modern semiconductor devices used in electrical engineering. They will become familiar with the operating principles of the most commonly used electronic circuits and configurations, including circuits with discrete bipolar and field-effect transistors, power amplifiers, logic circuits, A/D and D/A converters, operational amplifiers, voltage regulators, and other electronic building blocks. Within laboratory exercises, students will learn how to measure and analyze the characteristics of basic electronic circuits, evaluate the obtained results, and draw appropriate conclusions. The course provides a solid foundation for subsequent specialized courses in electrical engineering and helps students understand the interrelationships between individual technical disciplines.
