On 10–12 February 2026, representatives of universities from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the Baltic countries met at the headquarters of B&R in Eggelsberg, Austria, for a joint event focused on strengthening cooperation between academia and B&R.

During the nearly three-day program, participants were introduced to B&R’s development and manufacturing facilities, its latest technological innovations, and its strategic direction. Representatives of the participating universities also presented their projects, which may serve as the basis for future collaboration.

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics was represented at the event by Ing. Peter Bober, PhD.
